Regarding Book Purchase Requests
Personal Research Fund Purchase Request
- When selecting to purchase using personal research funds, the library will handle the purchase of print and electronic books on your behalf.
- This option applies to books you wish to use from the library's collection or books you want to borrow for an extended period.
- If users personally purchase print books with their research funds, they must visit the library with the book and receipt for inspection and registration procedures. After this process, they can borrow the book for an extended period.
- For electronic books, users must submit the PDF file of the entire book to the library for verification before processing the research fund payment.
Library Budget Purchase Request
- When making a book purchase, you can select the “purchase using the library's budget” to request books recommended to the library.
