Library Services
Book Purchase Request
- You can request the purchase of print books or electronic books through the book purchase request service. Once the requested books are acquired by the library and made available for use, you will receive a notification of their arrival.
Original Document Copy Service
- This service provides copies of materials not held by the Korea Institute for Advanced Study, obtained from external institutions. When you request through the Original Document Copy Service menu, it takes a minimum of 2 days for materials held domestically and about 4 weeks for materials not held domestically. The cost can only be covered by research funds. After receiving a notification of arrival, you can collect the copies from your mailbox.
Interlibrary Loan Service
- This service allows borrowing of single volumes not held by the Korea Institute for Advanced Study from external institutions. For collaborating institutions, borrowing can be done via courier, and the cost (courier fee) can be covered by research funds. After receiving a notification of arrival, you can collect the borrowed materials from the library. Loan extensions are not possible.
